AMN accepts most insurances, Medicaid, and provides convenient cash payment plans. Credit card payments can be made through Paypal.com. Most insurance companies providing maternity care are not always aware that homebirth in Florida must be covered. Florida insurance statues provide this valuable support for midwifery care. AMN will provide the contacts required to obtain pre-certification and file your claim directly with your insurance company. All annual deductibles and co-pays will remain the responsibility of the insured. All of your prenatal care can be provided in your own home for an additional traveling fee. Insurances do not cover this expense. AMN hosts a product line of herbal teas, tinctures, salves, and creams. Most of these products support the immune system, pregnancy, and postpartum healing. Conveniently located in Winter Springs, just 6 miles from S.R. 417 and Aloma Avenue. Minutes from Longwood, Oviedo, Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Sanford, Winter Park, downtown Orlando and Maitland. SR 417 provides easy access to I-4, Osceola County and East Orlando. |

Homebirth serves women of low-risk pregnancies. Approximately 95% of all pregnancies are considered low risk. Midwifery care supports the emotional needs of your family as well as the physical changes of your growing body. Care is provided at Johnson’s Manor in a quaint home office atmosphere. Children are welcome at prenatal care appointments. Should they require entertainment, there are toys and coloring books as well as a big yard, tire swing, and outside play area. Full Prenatal Screening is provided for the best care. All labs are provided at the office. There is no need to drive and wait for lab services at another facility. First and second trimester prenatal visits are monthly. At 28 weeks, prenatal care visits are scheduled every two weeks. At 36 weeks, a visit to your home is provided, then visits are weekly until labor and delivery! Labor is monitored safely at home with intermittent fetal monitoring, emotional and physical support for the mother and family. The same equipment used in birthing centers is brought by the midwife to the homebirth. After the birth, a thorough newborn exam is provided for your new baby and again in 3 days at your home. A 4 to 6 week Postpartum exam councils you for family planning and monitors your recovery.
